Sustainability is a balance between nature and humans; Our lives depend on natural resources and these resources are not endless.
We manage our operations which has environmental, social and economic impacts, on the basis of ethical and social responsibility principles. We have started a cultural movement supported by trainings. Trainings on sustainability are provided to Design and R&D units, all administrative units and production employees. We produce policies and projects within the scope of the sustainability management system that we continuously develop.
GLOBAL CERTIFICATIONS AND PROJECTS
We have set goals for measuring the performance of our sustainability management system and for continuous improvement. We would like to have completed all certicates in 2020. Such as HIGG INDEX, GLOBAL RECYCLED STANDARD, ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) BCI, GLOBAL ORGANIC TEXTILE STANDART GOTS, INITIATIVE FOR COMPLIENCE AND SUSTAINABILITY, BUSINESS SOCIAL COMPLIENCE INITIATIVE, ORGANIC CONTENT STANDART, ZWTL (Zero Waste to Landfill), SEDEX.
SUSTAINABILITY PRACTISES AND PROJECTS
We use Ozone and Laser machines to reduce the use of chemicals in processes. We purify the waste water which used in our washing unit in the treatment plant and reuse it in processes in our factory. Our wastes are delivered to authorized companies to provide recycling. We will implement solar panels installation project in order to use natural energy by utilizing solar energy. In order to optimize the use of chemicals and water in the washing industry, new chemicals and technological applications are closely monitored. In our factories, 2nd quality products are repaired and donated to schools and children in need. In our company, some of the food waste are given to animal shelters to make food for animals..
